The Wallpaper App: Finally A Worthy Alternative for Tapet on iOS

One of my favorite wallpaper apps of all time is Tapet. It’s an Android wallpaper app that generates random abstract wallpapers. You get a selection of designs to choose from, and once you like a design, you can tap on the wallpaper to change its colors. With Tapet, you essentially get an unlimited supply of wallpapers at fingertips.

For years, there was no alternative for Tapet on iOS, and I sorely missed my favorite wallpaper app. But things have changed, and finally, I can report that my search for a Tapet alternative for iOS has come to an end. The newly released “The Wallpaper App” for iPhone works exactly like Tapet. You get a selection of designs that you can swipe through. Once you like a design, you can tap on it to change colors.

The Wallpaper App is available not only on iPhone but also on the iPad and the Mac. A cool feature of The Wallpaper App is that you can drag and drop colors from an external source to use them in any given wallpapers. While that’s not possible on the iPhone, you can do it on iPad and Mac.
